The MBA+ Challenge Video Contest challenges business and entrepreneurship students and recent graduates to show how they are using their business skills to make a difference in the developing world in a short video.

Here at the Global Business School Network, we are dedicated to the idea that business education can change the world. Whether through their volunteer work, student projects, new enterprises or blossoming careers, many business students are making a difference in the developing world. Our MBA+ Challenge Video Contest celebrates and rewards their efforts.
 
This year's winning video is MamaCarts - Increasing Food Security, by a team from Colorado State University's Global Social and Sustainable MBA program.

Haas Business School Student receives his award at the 2011 Conference in Mexico City

2011 MBA Challenge winning team member Dan Parker from Haas Business School, UC Berkeley, receives his award at the GBSN conference in Mexico City

First prize is an all expense paid trip for one team member to present their winning video at the GBSN Annual Conference in Tunisia June 10 - 12, 2013.

The winning team will also be featured on the nextbillion blog and the New Global Citizen blog, as well as the GBSN website.

Over the next couple weeks, the top 5 finalists, as determined by online voting, will each have the opportunity for an online mentoring session with a world leader in business or development. The distinguished list of mentors include:

  • Mari Kuraishi, CEO, Global Giving
  • Manu Chandaria, Chairman, Comcraft Group
  • Randall Kempner, Executive Director, Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs
  • Bruce McNamer, President and CEO, TechnoServe
  • Benedict Odukwe, Group Director Human Resources, United Bank for Africa

The 2nd & 3rd Place winners will be highlighted by GBSN in newsletter, website and Annual Conference program.
