This month GBSN joined Corporate Council on Africa (CCA). This new partnership will be a great opportunity further develop our network's ties with industry and nonprofit leaders working on the continent.
mission is founded on the belief that Africa's future success depends upon the
ability of its entrepreneurs and business people to create and retain wealth, a
topic dear to the heart of GBSN: Our vision is for developing countries to have
the management talent needed to generate and sustain this prosperity. We
are excited to bring 10 years of experience in building local management
capacity to the members of the council.
CCA is a well-established network committed to improving the African continent's
trade and investment climate through strengthening its commercial relationship
with the United States. CCA works closely with governments, multilateral groups
and businesses to improve and to raise the profile of Africa in the US business
community. The Council holds sector focused seminars, conferences and
workgroups every year in finance, infrastructure, energy and health. As management
education and training is vital to the success of each of these sectors, we look forward to a fruitful relationship that furthers both of our missions.
