Global Business School Network’s doors four months ago, I could barely even edit
a video. Now, I’m piecing together full-fledged mini-movies effortlessly.
School Network gave me the perfect internship. From writing blogs on Case
Method Month to sharpening my computer skills, GBSN provided the tools I need
to become a stronger journalist, professional and teammate.
From day one, I
was treated like a real employee. Rather than spending tedious hours sorting
the mail or memorizing coffee orders, I was given valuable tasks that have
properly prepared me for the world of work. As a graduating senior, GBSN has
served as the ideal segue from college life to my first job. GBSN has
strengthened my abilities in writing, reporting, researching, editing and computer
programming. Every skill I acquired at GBSN will enhance my professional life
and give me a leg up on my first job.
Page has served as
an amazing mentor this semester. After learning so much from her, she has
become one of my role models. From editing my articles to walking my through
website designs, Page has tailored my internship to help me exceed my potential.
She was always had time to tutor me, no matter how swamped she was with her own
work. Every intern should be lucky to have a boss like Page.
I have also
absolutely loved working with Sarah, Guy and Nora. Working in a small office, everyone
was really close. From birthday lunches to staff meetings, it was a pleasure to
work with each staff member, and I hope everyone stay in touch.
Leaving GBSN is
bittersweet. I have valued my entire experience here, and I will miss everyone
in the office. As I say goodbye to GBSN, I leave with more professional skills
than I could have ever imagined. I have become more confident in my own capabilities
as an employee and feel ready for my first job out of college. Working with
GBSN is an honor, and words cannot describe how much I have loved interning
here. Thanks for the opportunity!
