At-tanmia (a market for development) is the
largest mobilization of partners
to support employment through innovation and entrepreneurship in Tunisia. It is particularly focused on
the youth and promoting economic development in disadvantaged regions.
Coordinated by the African Development Bank and strong of the
participation of 20 partners, including the Mediterranean School
of Business, a GBSN Member School, Souk Attanmia is therefore testing a new development approach
around people and their ideas. It will contribute, by supporting the
creation of micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs)
nationwide, to building
the momentum for growth, while helping to reduce social and regional disparities, through start-up financing, access to Bank co-financing
collaboration with GBSN, the initiative is currently establishing a new
learning section of its website, geared towards providing state-of-the
business manuals (how to set up a business plan, how to market your
products, etc.) in English, French or in Arabic (French & Arabic
preferred), to be made available for free to a wide network of
innovators in Tunisia and in the region.
