The American University in Cairo was established in 1919 to promote education and community service in Egypt. The School of Business was founded in 2009 and has been recognized as one of the top business schools in Egypt, the Arab world, and the African continent. The primary language used at AUC is English, allowing the faculty, staff, and students to become more involved in international business and to facilitate communication across the different cultures brought to the university by the diverse group of students. In the spirit of international cooperation, AUC has partnered its executive MBA program with that of the Kellogg School of Management (USA), the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (China), and the Center for Creative Leadership (a global institution). GBSN is proud to have the American University of Cairo as a member school and hopes that students around the world take advantage of this opportunity to learn about business in the Middle East.
