With a population of about 170 million,
which at current demographic rates doubles every 30 years, Pakistan is a major
regional power. In spite of periods of fairly rapid growth, however, poverty
remains widespread. Health and education services are lagging badly, leaving
many un-served.
GBSN is working with the Karachi Education Initiative, a consortium of Pakistani business leaders, to advise on the establishment of a new premier business school in Karachi, Pakistan.
Food for Thought
“Africa
is where business is being redefined. What is happening here will actually
teach us a fair bit about what the nature of business will be over the next century.”
