Afghanistan

Landlocked, with a life expectancy at birth of only 44 years, and seven out of ten adults illiterate, Afghanistan is one of the world's most deprived countries. For the past 30 years the population has tried as best they could to survive violent conflict. Yet, entrepreneurship is alive and well. Through the 10,000 Women initiative, GBSN is supporting the training of women for business and entrepreneurship.
