FEWA’s overriding vision is to see women positively contributing to our country’s and our region’s economic and social development.

The Gala Dinner will be complemented with singer Sara Tamba and Christine Kamau

Sara Tamba was raised in Uganda where at a tender age and with her parent´s encouragement and grandmother’s folk influence, she nurtured her affection for singing. Fondly described by her fans as ‘the small girl with the big voice’, Tamba is a rare gem.

Christina Kamau grew up in Nakuru Kenya and studied the trumpet at the Kenya Conservatoire of Music under Kagema Gichuhi. Her style can best be described as easy listening instrumental afro-jazz.
