Teaching the Virtually Real Case Study

In an era when children are born with ‘digital devices in their hands’ and gamers are no longer marginal geeks but mainstream students, Professors Emad and Halvorson offer a 21st century case-study enhancement. Using gaming storyboards, the professors transform written case studies into ‘playful’ interactive hunts for information in a fully immersive, on-line, three-dimensional digital world. This method improves student focus, enhances class collaboration and optimizes student participation.
