In this workshop the fundamental principles of effective discussion leadership will be explored and different approaches will be assessed.
This workshop will be of benefit to a wide audience, including:
- case teachers who are keen to improve their performance and refresh their skills
- those new to the case method will learn from the experienced case tutor and other classmates to develop confidence and skills for their own teaching
- those from any management sector/discipline.
- explore the whole process behind teaching with cases
- learn new classroom tactics
- have the opportunity to develop their own approaches, express concerns and exchange experiences
- learn how to design an effective case-based course.
This workshop will be facilitated by Kamran Kashani. Kamran is Professor of Marketing and Global Strategy at IMD, Switzerland. He has been a marketing consultant and educator to numerous USA and European companies and has also taught at INSEAD, France and Babson College, USA. Over the last 30 years Kamran has written more than 50 case studies and has won four Case Awards and two from EFMD. As a coach to teachers in the art of case method, Kamran has been presenting case writing and teaching workshops for The Case Centre since 2000.

Our flexible program allows you to attend one, two or three events during the same week. The fees below include a discount for attending more than one event.

A minimum of one subsidized place for participants in developing countries is available on each event. If your organization qualifies for our membership scheme for developing countries you may be eligible. Contact the events team for further details.
Fees include course materials and lunches. Our member organizations receive 10% discount. Attendance at the optional social dinners is an additional cost of £35/€40 per dinner.
