Margaret Andrews

Margaret Andrews is a seasoned academic leader with over twenty years of experience in higher education, business, consulting, writing and teaching. 

Margaret has held a variety of positions in higher education, including Vice Provost at the Hult International Business School, Associate Dean at Harvard University’s Division of Continuing Education and Executive Director of the MBA Program, Alumni Relations and Marketing at the MIT Sloan School of Management. She is also the founder of Mind and Hand Associates, a boutique consulting firm providing research and consulting services to clients in the higher education sector. She is co-author of the StratEDgy blog on Inside Higher Ed, reports on the worldwide management education market for University World News, and is also an occasional contributor to The EvoLLLution, a publication devoted to innovation in higher education. 

She is a highly-rated instructor at Harvard University’s Division of Continuing Education, teaching courses and professional development programs in leadership, strategy, and creativity. She has taught in the United States, South America and Europe. 

Prior to her career in higher education, she held positions as Vice President of Marketing at Putnam Investments, Consultant at Mercer Management Consulting (now Oliver Wyman), and as a CPA at Deloitte and Touche. 

Margaret has been a featured speaker at a number of conferences, including OECD Institutional Management in Higher Education, AACSB, Graduate Management Admissions Council, American Marketing Association, CASE, and the Wall Street Journal Conference on Women in the Economy. 

She hails from California and has an undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley and earned her graduate degree at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
