Mentoring Case Writers from Inspiration to Instruction

September 30, 10:00 am EST

For many business schools in the developing world there is a dearth of locally relevant cases easily accesible for instruction.  Many faculty and institutions are focusing on developing more local relevant cases for their courses, however developing a case study can be a daunting and time consuming task.  In addition to the importance of writing cases, case teaching is a unique skill that professors hone over time.  Case writing and teaching can be much more effective when matched with a supportive team for mentoring.  Join us for this webinar event as we focus on exploring the best practice for mentoring case writers.

Objectives of the Webinar
  • Learn what case mentoring is and what makes a good case mentor
  • Find out about the process of case mentoring from the initial outreach to the corporate interviews, writing, and ultimately instruction
  • Discover some of the internal and external factors that will promote the success of a case or provide roadblocks
  • Review personal examples from an experienced case mentor
