Babson College has launched its Modules for Entrepreneurship Educators (MEE) for teams of presidents, business school deans, and faculty on 8 campuses at Tec de Monterrey, a leading institution of private higher education in Mexico and Latin America.

As entrepreneurship continues to play a vital role in global economies, Babson—the top-ranked school in entrepreneurship education—is committed to preparing institutions worldwide on how to successfully teach entrepreneurship. The MEE program offers 6 modules— tailored to the needs of unique institutions—that provide ‘deep dives’ into specific topics taught around the theme of Entrepreneurial Thought and Action®, a powerful and practical approach to uncertainty that emphasizes experimentation and reflection. Case studies, break-out sessions, video, group presentations, and lectures are delivered in highly-interactive sessions taught by Babson’s Entrepreneurship faculty.

MEEs for Tec de Monterrey include:

  • Entrepreneurial Thought and Action® and Pedagogy
A method that is a way of thinking and acting, built on a set of assumptions using a portfolio of techniques to create. It goes beyond understanding, knowing, and talking and requires using, applying, and acting.

  • Academic Entrepreneurship Ecosystems
University-based entrepreneurship ecosystems (U-BEE™) provide a supportive context in which entrepreneurship and innovation can thrive. This module will focus on the pathways and success factors to create and sustain a U-BEE™, which will ultimately encourage entrepreneurship education and activity.

  • Debt and Equity Financing
Access to debt and equity financing is essential to building an entrepreneurial ecosystem. This module addresses debt financing, angel networks, and venture capital.

Babson College is the educator, convener, and thought leader of global entrepreneurship. We are a dynamic learning laboratory, shaping both today’s educators and tomorrow’s entrepreneurial leaders.
