CF LogoOlga Veligurska, the coordinator and Head of Projects for the Central and Eastern Europe Management Development Association (CEEMAN), has cordially invited the students and schools in the GBSNetwork to participate in an exciting student competition, Challenge:Future.  Student teams from all schools are invited to develop creative solutions and plans addressing any of six open challenges, with themes including the future of communications, revolutionizing transportation, global disease, and much more!

Teams may be formed with friends or classmates, or interested students can find partners on the Challenge:Future site.  All entrants will develop and post their solution, receiving public feedback with the opportunity to modify and improve their ideas.  In December, voting begins to select semi-finalists for each challenge; a total of 180 semi-finalist teams will then compete for the opportunity of expenses-paid travel to Bled, Slovenia for the finals.  The final event will feature -besides the best student teams- field experts, academics, sponsors, and speakers for an engaging conference and discussion.  Top prize is 20,000 euros.

This program should prove a great opportunity for students all over the world to engage with and learn about some of the most pressing issues of our times.  Participation can also serve as a great way to promote your ideas and creative potential, and to establish connections with like minds and industry experts.

Interested students should consult the Challenge:Future website.  Entry details found here.
