Opportunities for Business Education in Africa

The seminar will look into the successful cooperation of two European Business Schools in Africa: IESE Business School and Rouen Business School. Prof. Renart from IESE has been highly active in Africa, including with the Lagos Business School in Nigeria and Johannesburg, and with SBS in Nairobi. Under the aegis of the Global Business School Network (GBSN), he also trains local business school professors in real business case writing and in 2009, is concentrating his training efforts in Nigeria and the Ivory Coast. Dean Murdoch has developed his experience on Africa through collaboration with the ISM Business School in Dakar, Senegal and is currently working to create further Business School cooperations elsewhere in Africa. Finally, a speaker from CEIBS will also present the experience of a Chinese Business School in Africa after the opening of its campus in Ghana.
