GBSN has just partnered with Challenge:Future (C:F), a global youth competition on innovation and sustainability and a think tank focusing on acceleration of ideas, talent and multi-cultural collaboration of youth for the world’s prosperous future.
It offers a variety of platforms serving to give young talent at all levels of society and all around the globe the possibility to gain profound experience as they think about the future and get a chance to influence it in a positive way. Launched in 2009, Challenge:Future online community has gathered together a remarkable 14,500 students and faculty members, prominent experts and partners from 180 countries only in one year.
The 2011 Competition’s main theme will be announced on 23 February 2011, opening the opportunity for teams of 1-3 people aged 18-30 to compete for a number of exciting prizes and awards, including the grand award of EUR 20,000 for the best team, participating in parallel short contests and discussions, while schools will be competing for the title of the Most Innovative School based on the achievements of their students in Challenge:Future competition and related activities.
