In an article posted today entitled Business in Context, Inside Higher Ed explores how GBSN is making a difference in business education around the world.  The article discusses how connecting schools from advanced nations and emerging markets creates opportunities for teaching business within in the context of culture and infrastructure.

 

The article outlines how collaborations that have come from the network are strengthening the business education for students from North Carolina to Nairobi.

Business In Context

A “vast abyss” exists in what we know about management education programs around the world, and “cross-border collaborative projects may yet prove to be the most underutilized mechanism with the greatest potential,” according to a recent report on the globalization of management education.

But the Global Business School Network, which since 2003 has linked colleges in the developed West to those in developing nations, with the goal of strengthening business education worldwide, is trying to realize that potential. Click to read the full article.
