The Partnership for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health seeks the services of a consultant(s) to set out options for improving maternal, newborn and child health through strengthening of the global aid architecture. PMNCH seeks a highly skilled professional(s) to consider recent commitments and set recommendations regarding coverage of key Millennium Development Goals 4 and 5. Deadline is May 4, 2011.

For this important assignment, PMNCH seeks a highly skilled professional(s) to:

i.         Consider the extent to which recent commitments to women’s and children’s health are expected to lead to increased coverage of key Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) 4 and 5 interventions in priority, high-burden countries and whether there is scope for greater impact; and

ii.         Set out possible options and recommendations to address gaps and inefficiencies in the global aid architecture in order to accelerate progress on MDGs 4 and 5, while simultaneously providing good value for money and aligning with national efforts and plans.
