In the International Finance Corporation's "Handshake" journal for Public Private Partnerships, Page Schindler Buchanan writes about how governments can work with business schools to bring prosperity to developing economies.  The article details 5 ways governments can engage with schools and describes a successful venture to strengthen micro, small and medium enterprises in Kenya.

 

 "Government aid, policy reform and international investment can do wonders for the people in a developing nation, but they can only take an economy so far. A deep pool of talent with management skills and business know-how is critical if a country is going to develop the local businesses, organizations and agencies that create jobs, provide goods and deliver services."
