Visiting University of Michigan and Michigan State University
Last week GBSN's Doug White and Lisa Leander went on a site visit to University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and Michigan State University’s Broad College of Business, to learn more about the universities and explore options to collaborate.
Both the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and The Broad College of Business at Michigan State University have an incredibly array of outward-facing initiatives. These two schools have distinguished themselves as leaders in their strategies to ensure a global reach for their programs, but we see many others turning increasingly to globalizing their offerings.

Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women Recruiting - Brazil
The 10,000 Women program in Brazil is recruiting women for its next cohort of scholars in Sao Paulo.
The 10,000 Women certificate program in Sao Paulo was launched by Goldman Sachs and the Goldman Sachs Foundation in partnership with Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV).
The Brazil program has already graduated over 800 women through partnerships with FGV in Sao Paulo and Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC) in Belo Horizonte and Rio de Janeiro.

GBSN Member School MBAs Participates in Financial Times MBA Challenge
This year the Financial Times' seasonal appeal partner, for the 2013 MBA Challenge, is the Global Fund for Children.
The GFC works with 282 non-profits, nine of which- have been given sustainablility grants and invited to work with nine teams of MBA students in this year's MBA Challenge. At least one GBSN member school is represented on each team.

The Programs Intern will work closely with GBSN’s staff on implementing international programs that build management education capacity for the developing world. This will include providing logistical support for programs, data analysis, research, writing reports, and tracking activities and leads.
