I can’t think of another region that better demonstrates how effective, innovative management powers successful development,” said Guy Pfeffermann, founder and CEO of GBSN.

Host sites will include Mother Dairy, GenPact, Sakha Consulting Wings and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. Delegates will also have the opportunity to tour IMT Ghaziabad’s campus and meet with local faculty.

"At IMT we believe that education is not a zero sum game – hence we emphasize on enhancing competitiveness through constant exchange of knowledge, transcending borders. Hence it is only fitting that we host an international conference of such magnitude. GBSN 2012 represents a huge opportunity for the B-schools across the globe to come to India and experience the depth and breadth of transformation that one of the fastest growing economies is undergoing,” said IMT Ghaziabad Director, Dr. Bibek Banerjee.

Previous GBSN conferences have been held in New Hampshire, France, Nairobi, Cape Town, Washington, DC and Mexico City, and have included leaders in management education from over 30 countries. Attendees at GBSN conferences over the past 7 years have developed international partnerships with results ranging from cross-cultural student projects, to the formation of the Association of African Business Schools, to collaborative research.

"I’ve been attending GBSN meetings and collaborating with them for several years now, and have had amazing interactions with thought leaders from industry, academia, and government and nonprofit sectors in Nairobi, Cape Town, Washington DC, and elsewhere, thanks to them,” said Anjali Sastry from MIT Sloan School of Business, one of the speakers at the 2012 conference.
