Guy PfeffermannI want to thank all our friends who made the Delhi conference such a huge success.

This conference was about management education powering development. How does management education do that? And why was India a special place to consider the question?

At the most general level, good management education should enhance efficiency and effectiveness in organizations in which their alumni work. Increasingly, these include not only corporations but also small enterprises, health service providers public and private and civil society organizations. The worldwide waste of resources attributable to poor management has not been quantified, but I would be very surprised if it weren’t of the same order of magnitude as the cost to society of corruption. Pilot BRiDGE Program "Building Relationships to Develop Global Excellence" Unveiled at 2012 Members Meeting

In this pilot program GBSN provides a a "BRiDGE" to those schools in developing countries who are committed to quality and would benefit from sharing ideas, discussing programs, and working side by side with schools from our network. For developing world business schools, participating in the BRiDGE program provides access to member schools, opportunities for faculty mentoring, virtual collaboration opportunities, and the ability to participate in GBSN events such as webinars, panels, and conferences.

Current pilot program participants include African Nazarene University (Kenya),American University of Central Asia (Kyrgyzstan) and Universiti Tun Abdul Razak(Malaysia)

Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women Recruiting in KenyaGoldman Sachs 10,000 Women

10,000 Women program in Kenya is recruiting women for its next cohort of 10,000 Womenscholars in Nairobi. The 10,000 Women certificate program in Kenya was launched by Goldman Sachs and the Goldman Sachs Foundation in partnership with the United States International University (USIU).
