GBSN's collaboration with USIU on their new certificate program in Management and Innovation for Agribusiness Entrepreneurs is off to a good start! GBSN faculty mentors met with USIU case writing faculty for an initial workshop in Nairobi this October.  During this visit, the GBSN mentors were able to provide USIU faculty with a framework for developing good case studies and participated in the initial interviews of the case study protagonists.

10,000 Women academic partner, Indian School of Business (ISB), is recruiting women for its next cohorts of 10,000 Women scholars in Bangalore, Pune and Noida/Ghaziabad. The program seeks to recruit women with existing SMEs in and around the city. ISB has already graduated over 400 women from its program which operates in eight cities throughout India.

The INSEAD Africa Initiative announces the 2 winners of the INSEAD African Faculty Fellowship program 2012.  This fellowship programme was open to 2 Faculty members from African business schools affiliated with the Global Business School Network or with the Association of African Business Schools, with a strong interest in developing their careers in research and teaching to their fullest potential.

Stratford University in Washington, DC has three openings in a J-1 visiting professor program for business faculty to teach for three weeks during Winter or Spring 2012.  Visas must be issued by December 31, 2011, so applications must be submitted ASAP.

The purpose of the study was to identify which regions and groups are fueling the most economic and social change.
