Dr. Robert R. Miller retired in 2001 from his 11-years consultancy in Washington DC with the International Finance Corporation, where he worked with the Chief Economist in the Economics Department.

Prior to this he was a professor of business administration for many years at the Universities of Iowa, Texas and Houston, as well as serving as an independent consultant. His major teaching responsibilities were in international business and finance. While at Houston, he was Associate Director of a funded project to start a business school in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Dr. Miller holds engineering and business degrees from the University of Michigan and a Ph. D. in business economics from Stanford University.
