European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD)

The European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) and GBSN agree to a reciprocal membership agreement

based on the following:

EFMD and GBSN will be listed in each others' membership books and lists as
Association Members.
Fees for attendance at EFMD Annual Conference/GBSN Conference for one
representative from GBSN/EFMD are waived.
Both organizations will seek opportunities to jointly organize conferences of mutual
interest.
Both will publish events, news, and offerings through their respective websites and
publications.
When appropriate, both organizations will include GBSN/EFMD representatives on
committees.

Food for Thought

With very few exceptions, MBA programs in sub-Saharan Africa are unable to effectively compete with institutions in the West. As a result, MBA programs cannot attract the best local students or faculty and often lack the leadership prowess necessary to effectively position themselves within the market.
